Bergen tours at a glance
Most Bergen tours start in or near the harbour, within a few minutes of Bryggen. The classic first tour is the guided walk through the wharf, and from there the choices spread out: the Hanseatic assembly rooms, the funicular and the mountain, a cruise on the Osterfjord or a longer day by rail and boat. Prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) for 2026, and they change.
The guided Bryggen walk is in English, lasts 90 minutes and begins at Bryggens Museum. The route includes the Schøtstuene and a medieval wine cellar. The price covers admission to Bryggens Museum and the Schøtstuene on the same day. The walk is not suited to prams or to people with limited mobility, and dogs are allowed only as guide dogs.

The Bryggen walk and the ferry walk are the short ones for a first morning in the centre. The kayak trip leaves the city for Øygarden, and the fjord and fortress options are for when you want a boat or the Bergenhus area on your list.
